GREENWOOD, Ind. – Leah Esposito,
Bethany Lacock and
Nolan Hofstee were named to the College Sports Information Directors of America College Division Academic All-District 4 Team, the association announced last week.

Esposito earned her second consecutive award, she was the winner of All-District, All-America, track and field All-America of the Year and all-sport All-America of the Year honors in 2015-16.

This year, she overcame a pulmonary embolism to earn her third-straight individual Frontier Conference Cross Country title before earning All-American honors in cross country, indoor track and closing her career with her 19th All-America honor Saturday after finishing second at the outdoor track and field national championship in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Esposito, a Helena native, also continued her stellar performance in classroom with a 3.97 GPA. She graduated with honors as she prepares for medical school.

Lacock finished 16th in the country in the heptathlon. She was in seventh heading into the javelin but couldn't record a distance and fell to a 16th-place finish.

She has a 3.92 GPA in Health Sciences, the junior hails from Hinsdale, Mont.

Hofstee is a Biology Major with a 3.83 GPA, he earned NAIA qualifying marks in the decathlon but failed to advance to nationals because he was outside of the top 16. The sophomore from Eureka will likely be a big contributor for the Saints moving forward.

The trio is now eligible for All-America recognition, voting will take place later this week and the All-American selections will be announced in early June.
